  • Do I need to book excursions in advance?

    We recommend booking excursions once you arrive at the resort.

     
  • Are there English speaking guides in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park and at the fresh water marsh?

    Unfortunately, there are not English speaking guides available. However, at the national park there are signs in Roman letters directing visitors as well as some explanations of flora and fauna found in the area in English.

     
  • Do you have binoculars for rent for bird watching?

    No, we recommend bringing your own.

     
  • Which hiking trails are good for children?

    It's best to check with the front office upon arrival regarding specific trails that would best suit your children. Our staff is happy to answer your questions in person.

     
  • Will I need good hiking shoes to visit the caves?

    It is advisable to wear good shoes as the trails can be rocky in places and slippery when wet.

     
  • When do the fishing boats go to Monkey Island, around the islands, or to the beach at Phraya Nakorn Cave?

    It is advisable to check with the front office upon arrival at the resort regarding the tide and weather conditions as sometimes the fishing boats are not able to go out.

     
  • Do you have life jackets?

    We have plenty of life jackets for adults, teenagers, and a few life jackets for toddlers. If you have a baby, we recommend bringing your own lifejacket as small lifejackets are not available.

     
  • Should I take mosquito spray to the fresh water marsh?

    Yes, if there is no wind there can be quite a lot of mosquitoes. You could also wear layers of clothing to help prevent mosquito bites.

     
  • Do I need to be concerned about malaria or dengue fever in your area?

    No, luckily we do not know of any cases of malaria or dengue fever in our area.
