Is it possible for me to share transportation to and from Bangkok with other guests?
It is up to individual guests whether or not they want to share rides. It is rare that this occurs unless guests already know each other and are leaving from the same location. We are happy to make a note in transfer bookings but are not able to guarantee ride shares.
I am travelling with friends and we are staying at 2 different locations in Bangkok, can your driver pick us up?
For 2 points the transportation company charges an additional fee especially if the locations are far away from each other.
To find out the exact extra cost, we would need to know the exact locations from which you would like to be picked up.Can you pick us up at a hotel in Bangkok or do you only pick up from the airport?
The car service will be happy to pick you up from any location in Bangkok.
Will a 4 door car seat 2 adults and 2 children?
With 4 guests, the driver, and luggage, we recommend a minibus as the cars often have LPG tanks in the trunks so there is not enough room for luggage. The cars seat only 4 people. The minibuses are only 200 Baht more than the cars.
Do the vehicles your transportation company uses have seatbelts?
Yes. Although seatbelts are only required in Thailand for front seats, we require that all vehicles used by our car service provider are equipped with seat belts for all passengers.
Does your transportation company have baby car seats?
Children's car seats are available upon request. Please be sure to mention the age and approximate weight of your child when booking your transport.
I am travelling on a tight budget. Are there other modes of transportation available to get to Dolphin Bay Resort besides your car service?
As far as transportation to Dolphin Bay Resort, there are several options from which to choose:
1) Book directly with us a saloon car (4 seater for 3,000 Baht), a minibus (8 seater for 3,200 Baht), or a minibus (12 seater for 3,800 Baht) from Bangkok to Dolphin Bay.
2) Take a blue and white air-conditioned bus (200 Baht/person approx.) from the Southern Bus Station in Bangkok to the town of Pranburi which is a 20 minute drive from Dolphin Bay Resort. Depending on the time of day that you arrive in Pranburi, you can get a “song tao” which is a pick-up truck with a covering for 250 Baht one-way to the resort. (*Note the number of “song taos” is limited and they are not always available.)
3) Take a blue and white air-conditioned bus (200 Baht/person approx.) from the Southern Bus Station in Bangkok to the town of Hua Hin which is a 40 minute drive from Dolphin Bay Resort. Get a taxi from Hua Hin to Dolphin Bay Resort for 600-800 Baht+. You will need to bargain for this price. There are a lot of taxis in Hua Hin.
4) Take the train from Hualompong Train Station in Bangkok to Hua Hin. Get a taxi form Hua Hin to Dolphin Bay Resort for 600-800+ Baht. You willl need to bargain for this price. Please refer to: http://www.railway.co.th/english/index.asp for timetables and fares. (*Please note: Always check with the train station as timetable may change.)

Minibus (800 Baht) Minibus (350 Baht)Is it possible for the driver to stop in Hua Hin or Pranburi, at the Tesco Lotus supermarket on the way to the resort?
If we inform the transportation company ahead of time, arrangements can be made to stop. An additional fee may be charged for stops if the drivers have to wait for more than 30 minutes.
How much advance notice do I need to give to book transportation?
Transportation must be booked and confirmed 48 hours before scheduled pick-up to ensure availability of transportation.
What information do you need to book transportation to the resort?
When you request transportation on the reservation request form, we will send you a separate transportation form to complete with the information we require.
How much advance notice do I need to give to cancel transportation?
Transportation must be cancelled 48 hours before scheduled pick-up or we reserve the right to charge the full amount of the transportation cost.
How do I cancel transportation that I have booked with you?
If it is 48 hours or less before your scheduled pick-up, please call the resort directly to avoid being charged for transportation.
If it is more than 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up, please email us at the resort to inform us of your change in plans.
