I stayed at the Dolphin in April 12 with my two daughters for 6 nights in a 2 bedrom flat. We had a very pleasant holiday, the reservation was easy, the pick-up at Suvarnabhumi was well organized and the staff was very friendly. My girls loved the area since it was not over crowded. The actvities proposed by the hotel are interesting, we took the ride to see the elefants in the wild, a fishing trip and rented a scooter for one day. The restaurant offers a decent food quality. I very much recommend this resort if you have children and if you want to avoid the more wellknown places. It is well worth the price compared to other places.

It was very picturesque, with the sea literally at our door step.  The rooms seem to have been just refurbished and were nice and clean.  It was safe and private, no one hassling you to make a purchase on the beach or in the vicinity.  The staff were superb - gracious, friendly and helpful. The food was very good too....choice of thai and western meals, with fresh vegetables and fruits.

My wife and I and two young daughters spent 9 wonderful days here. We would definitely come here again! The rooms are comfortable and the room service is very thorough and timely. Breakfast offers quite a variety and the resort restaurant couldn't have a better view of the ocean. Oh, and did I mention it's also right beside the dual pools. So you can relax with a fruit smoothie while your kids play in a pool just for them, complete with a water slide.

At this resort you will also find an unsurpassed offering of family-friendly amentiies. High chairs for meals, kid menus, rental bicycles with child seats, mini mart with diapers and pool and beach toys. You can also rent motorbikes, take boat outings, ride elephants, visit the national park, check out a monkey island, and comb a beach with enough live flora and fauna to keep any kid (or adult) enthralled for days!

I repeat, we would definitely come here again!!!! In fact, I personally know several families that have come here annually for years!

The hotel, staff and location surpassed all our eagerly anticipated expectations. The staff are a real credit to the hotel. Its FAMILY FRIENDLY approach is magnificent. The rooms are more than adequate, the food and menu a delight both western and asian cuisine. The position by the beach and close to the Sam roi Yot nature park is very good and less than 3 hours drive from Suvarbhumi airport

I visited here February 2012 with my eleven year old daughter. It was a wonderful experience and one that we both intend to repeat in the future. Thank you very much!

My family and I stayed at Dolphin Bay mid Feb 2011. We were there with several other families and had a blast! The folks at Dolphin Bay were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean as well as the grounds. Food was not what you expect from a "hotel restaurant." Great variety and probably The Best Tom Yum Soup I ever had! Oh yeah, and go to Monkey Island. They'll arrange it for you. Great times. Hope to be back!!

My son and I had the pleasure of visiting Dolphin Bay Resort in September of 2010. It was a true pleasure. The rooms were excellent, very clean and entirely comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating, helpful and totally competent. The food was great. William Meyer, the owner/manager, was a superb host. The cost was very reasonable and quite inexpensive by U.S. standards.It was quiet and peaceful. The beach was lovely, great for a swim, relaxation or long walks. We were taken on a wonderful snorkeling trip to a nearby island (Koh Talu), which was also extremely enjoyable. We enjoyed several other side trips to the surrounding area: Hua-Hin, Pranburi and other surrounding towns. We also had a couple of great Thai Massages.All in all, it was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning soon.

We love the quiet beach and kayaking in the calm bay. Our kids enjoyed the playground and made a lot of friends. Thanks for great vacation!

Отдыхали в Долфин Бэй в июне 2010, трое взрослых и ребенок 8 лет. Попали туда случайно (не было мест в отеле, куда изначально планировали)- но это была счастливая случайность! Отель очень понравился. Жили в  бунгало - чисто, все новое, условия вполне комфортабельные. Отличный пологий берег, есть где погулять, небольшие магазины, ресторанчики. Людей очень мало - большой плюс, но может это потому, что были в "несезон". Единственная засада- пляжные мошки покусали  -но это от незнания. Потом купили местный спрей Lemongrass Oil - проблема исчезла. Завтрак, и ресторан в целом -очень прилично, хотя и не дешево. Тихое и спокойное место для семейного отдыха, вполне цивилизованное- рядом есть даже банкомат и терминал для пополнения тел.карт . В самом отеле без проблем все можно оплатить "визой". Погода была хорошая, облачно, иногда вечером или ночью шел дождик. Уезжать не хотелось. Наверное, приедем еще!

ich war im Mai 10 in diesem hotel und war rund herum begeistert. Service, Essen, Ausstattung alles super. Etwas einsam aber dafür total zum erholen. Traumhafter Strand, besser als in der Karibik. Nochmal super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Dolphin Bay was a quiet destynation in Thailand/Hua Hin. The people were very nice and the resort was small but great in hospitality. I'm sure i will come again when i visit Thailand.  If you need a relaxing destynation go to Dolphin Bay. You will be the only one on the beach.

We first visited Dolphin Bay in August last year and enjoyed it so much that we came back again (in September) and again (in October) and again (in December)...and are hoping to come again this month. Having travelled a great deal of the world, we can honestly say that Dolphin Bay is pretty much our favourite place on the planet :-) It is a little piece of perfection and calm in a busy world, and one to which many of our relatives and friends, who live in other parts of the world, are very keen to return...need I say more?

Every moment my husband and I spent at Dolphin Bay Resort was a moment in heaven. Our room was kept fastidiously clean, as was the whole property, the food was consistently excellent, the staff friendly and accommodating and the surroundings beautiful. We went on to stay at a five-star hotel in Bangkok for business and immediately missed the atmosphere of Dolphin Bay! We will undoubtedly return and wholeheartedly reccommend this piece of heaven on earth to all.

We love this place! Moved to Thailand in August and have visited twice so far. Going back for Christmas with my parents who are visiting. The accomodation is very good and the service, food, views, organisation,.......(this could be a very long list!) are all excellent. On our second visit we picked up a VIP card so we will certainly be back again next year. Thankfully bangkok is only a couple of hours away so we can come down any weekend and have a break in paradise! Many thanks for so far - looking forward to Christmas!

Thank you for the wonderful holiday we had at Dolphin Bay. Everything was really fine. Clean rooms, very friendly staff in the whole resort, very good food (we will try to cook here at home with the chillies and the paste we bought at the market and the dry chilli we got from the f&b), nice breakfast (better than in the hotel in Bangkok!!). We have just come back from our vacation in Dolphin Bay. We did enjoy staying at Dolphin Bay Resort. It is absolutely a perfect place with sea view and relaxing, lovely atmosphere for family with kids. We had such great vocation there with our friends, especially for the kids. After waiting for days, at the last day they finally saw dolphins. Thanks to all the staff for your heartfelt hospitality. If we go to Huahin again, we will definitely come back to Dolphin Bay Resort! Simply the best!!! ."

cela fait deux ans que je me rend au Dolphin Bay avec ma famille (franco/thaie) et j'y trouve repos et tranquillité à un prix très correct.
J'espère bien y retourner cette année et profiter des plaisirs du resto et du salon de massage.

We stayed here in January 2007. We rented the 3 bedroom apt which is huge! The closet in each room is big enough to be a bedroom too. And each room has its own bathroom which was wonderful. The kitchen living room area is also big and very open for kids to run around. The service was great. We did an elephant ride one day and a day trip to Talu Island which is absolutely gorgeous! I will say that the pool water was very, very cold! and the Jacuzzi sounds good but it is cold too. : ) But they have a great playground and swing set area for small children. And don't forget to take time to get a massage.

Had a fantastic holiday in August. The rooms were fine, the staff were very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the food in the restaurant. We enjoyed the boat trip to Monkey Island they organised for us.

We had a wonderful 9 days at DBR in August. Rainy season? We only got 1 shower. The resort was as wonderful as I expected, with excellent staff, spotlessly clean, good food, reasonable prices.As others have said, its a great place for a family, but its also a wonderful place for a romantic break and a huge change from the hussle and bustle of the rest of Thailand.Thanks to everyone who made our stay so good.

We (a family of four) stayed for 7 nights at Dolphin Bay resort. Beautiful part of Thailand with the advantage of being off the beaten track. Fantastic food, friendly staff, cold beer, warm atmosphere. Cocktails are magnificently. Rooms are spacious, clean and well serviced, Scooters are a hoot. overall a nice place to relax, unwind and gain a few pounds. cheers from the Laverack family

Last four years ago, I had discovered (pink dolphin resort) by chance. My family and me we had been there for 3 days and we had rent the boat to visit monkey island and by chance again we had met the pink dolphin family swimming along as. We were shocked. It was the thing that we have never seen in our life. Up to now, when we back to France and told the people that we saw the pink dolphins, but nobody belive us even we show the photos. My wife and our three children (ages 5, 7 and 9) stayed at Dolphin Bay during the third week of June '07. We had a GREAT time. We can highly recommend the two-bedroom suites, very comfortable and spacious. The kids loved collecting seashells, sand dollars and other "treasures" on the beach. It was low season so we were usually the only people on the beach or in the ocean. And the pools, particularly the slide, were perfect for the family. A very relaxed atmosphere with extremely helpful and considerate staff. Tom was especially helpful. The breakfast was quite nice and the food in general at Dolphin Bay was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, this is a great resort for families and we will definitely do our best to stay at Dolphin Bay in the future.

We stumbled across this heavenly place - and thanked God that the rest of the world have not been so lucky!We stayed just 3 nights in early June 07 - except for ours there were just 5 other rooms occupied. Why do people only think of visiting Thialand in peak season??? It was beautifully clean & tidy, the staff were so very friendly - and the surrounding area was nothing short of absolutely mindblowingly stunning.If you have still not made up your mind to stay here - then take it from us - you would be mad not to.

In feb.07 we stayed one week at dolphin bay resort.It was a great place, perfekt for kids and adults. Excellent staff(thank you).We loved it and our boy 2 years old had his best time here on our one month vacation in thailand. If we go to Thailand we will definatly visit this hotel again.

We had a super wonderful time - so peaceful at Dolphin Bay compared to Hua Hin itself (where we used to go) The room was really nice, all the staff were all so helpful and friendly. The meals are reasonably priced and the Thai food especially was fantastic.Although the beach is not quite as nice as Hua Hin, it is not crowded and the view of the bay and islands plus added fun of watching the dolphins makes up for this many times over. For a lovely, enjoyable peaceful rest away from the hustle and noise of Hua Hin itself this is the plce to go. Can't wait to when we go there again later this year

Many thanks to Kirsten, Boom and the many happy faces (oops! forgot their names) we saw each day at the resort. All of you had given us a very memorable and wonderful time at Dolphin Bay Resort. Kudos to Kirsten and her team of tireless staff, who were always so patient and smiling with the never-ending stream of enquiries from the resort guests. Food was good and prices were reasonable. Rooms might be basic but they were clean. Big grounds for the kids to run around and the pool with the slide was a big hit for my kids. All these are what you would have expected from a family resort. However, what impressed me most is the quick response time. I had a problem with one of the electricity points in the bedroom. Walked to the office to let them know of the problem and by the time, I walked back to my unit, the maintenance staff together with the supervisor were already there waiting for me! This is not one-time lucky as this kind of fast response time happened not only once but twice during my 4 days' stay at the Resort. I can't believe it as I had stayed at star-studded hotels run by international chains of hotel management and where this is concerned, they couldn't even hold a candle to Dolphin's. I would happily recommend this Resort to any family who wants to have a good holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

A truly wonderful stay. "We have not been this chilled for years". The resort combines all the attributes required for a really relaxing break. Superb location, excellent facilities, a restaurant with excellent and competitively priced menus and staff who seem to know how to smile! Wonderful unspoilt beach too with NO European Burger/chips/Lager Louts in sight. Highly recommended. Going back in March 2007.Tim & Sally

We stayed for 15 days in october at this perfect place for our family of five. Non of us got bored a single day, lots of things to do and see when we wanted to. Excellent staff, food and very clean rooms. This place is hard to beat. Thank you all for making our stay so pleasent. I hope we will be back!

STAY AT THE RESORT IN AUGUST, VERY PLEASANT STAY AND GOOD BASIC FACILITIES, LOCATION WAS VERY QUIET, WITH LOADS OF ACTIVITIES TO DO AT THE RESORT AND OUTSIDE BUT I MISS NOT BEING CLOSER TO HUA HIN TO ENJOY THE NIGHT MARKET AND THE SHOPPING AS WELL AS DIFFERENT RESTAURANTS/FOOD, SO FOR THE 6 DAYS WE STAYED THERE IT WAS GOOD MY SON(11) MADE FEW FRIENDS IN THE POOL! I WILL COME BACK BUT NO LONGER THAN A WEEK AND WILL COME WITH WHOLE FAMILY AND FRIENDS...THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF WHO ALL DEMONSTRATE THE PREFECT USUAL THAI HOSPITALY

Just wanted to stop in, and say thanks to the wonderful people of dolphin bay. We had a blast, and I am sure that NO one made as many trips to Hua Hin as we did. I feel nostalgic looking at the website. Kirsten, You are a wonderful person, and so helpful to your guests. It was nice to finally see you in person. Even if there was a little mix up with picking us up at the airport. It all worked out fine! Keep up the good work, and we miss the fun we had there.
