Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand

In Thailand, like in every country in the world, animals are abused and exploited for profit and human
gratification. There are sadly many examples of animal exploitation within the tourism industry.
Furthermore, there is still a thriving illegal trade both online and offline of wild animals for pets and
traditional medicine.

“Wild life Friend Foundation Thailand” or WFFT, located near Cha-am and Hua Hin, provides visitors with an unique opportunity to see wild animals outside of exploitative venues.”

Full Day Experience Schedule :-our tour starts at around 09.30 AM with a guided 2 hours walking tour
around the Wildlife Rescue Centre, our guide will show you some of incredible 880+ rescued animals
including elephants , apes, bears, monkeys and many more. You will receive information about the
different species, hear their stories, learn why they are living at the center and how WFFT is helping them.
At noon you enjoy lunch overlooking our largest elephant enclosure with free-roaming elephants and
gibbons livings on their own island.

For the second part of the tour, you will be aboard one of WFFT’s Safari Buses. You will be driven around WFFT’s Newlands Area to observe even more rescued animals living in large open fields, you will see our newest projects, the rescued bears, WFFT’s Ape Rescue Centre and Big Cat (tigers) Rescue Centre.

14.30 The final part of the tour is where you get to be a little more hands on. Visit WFFT’s Elephant Hospital to make some special banana balls for our rescued elephants. You will then get up close to some of the herd while meeting them during feeding time.
